Presbyterians are Christians. And like other Christians we believe in one God who is revealed to us in three persons: in God the Father; in Jesus Christ His only son; and in the Holy Spirit who is always with us.
We believe that God loves us more than we can imagine, and more than we could ever deserve. God loves us so much that he sent His only son to be our Saviour, Lord and Friend, granting forgiveness, new life and life eternal.
Presbyterians are a thinking faith, always asking questions and seeking the truth, with a tender heart. We are not a dogmatic faith with lots of rules that cannot be questioned. There are a few things that are important in our faith:
In the Presbyterian Church we celebrate two sacraments, which for us are visible signs of God’s invisible grace:
Our worship services at Trinity are about an hour long and are easy to follow - everything you need is shown on our two projector screens at the front. And you won't be asked to introduce yourself at any of our worship services - so please don't worry about being embarrassed.
If you're interested in learning more, please be our guest and join us for worship some Sunday at 10:30, or come along to one of the events on our website. That small step just might change your life!

Presbyterians are a thinking faith, always asking questions and seeking the truth, with a tender heart. We are not a dogmatic faith with lots of rules that cannot be questioned. There are a few things that are important in our faith:
- The Sovereignty of God – We believe that God is the supreme authority.
- The Authority of Bible – We believe that all of our knowledge of God and God's purpose for us comes from the Bible, particularly what is revealed in the New Testament through the life of Jesus Christ.
- Salvation by Grace – We believe that our salvation through Jesus Christ is God's generous gift to us, and not the result of our own accomplishments.
- Everyone is Included – We believe that it is everyone's job - men and women, ministers and lay people alike - to share this Good News with the whole world.
In the Presbyterian Church we celebrate two sacraments, which for us are visible signs of God’s invisible grace:
- Baptism – We baptize infants and adults by sprinkling water on their heads, as a symbol of God’s love for them and their acceptance into the Christian faith. Those who have already been baptized into another branch of the Christian faith may become Presbyterians without being baptized again.
- The Lord's Supper (Communion) -- We celebrate our Christian faith by sharing in bread and the cup that symbolize the presence of Jesus Christ with us. At Trinity we celebrate Communion once every two months, and this is a very special worship experience for us. We welcome Christians of any faith to join us for this.
