Minister and Staff
The Rev. Kirk T. Summers
Kirk's ministry has centered in his serving as a minister of the Presbyterian Church in Canada at churches in Calgary, Alberta, London, Ontario and now at Trinity since 2014. He is also a past certified long-term care administrator and prior to coming to Trinity served as the chief operating officer for a faith-based residential facility caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of cognitive impairment.
Kirk's educational background includes degrees in sociology (Wilfrid Laurier University), divinity (Knox College, University of Toronto) and philosophy (University of Wales).
He is married to Nancy. They have two children, Alex and Jamie.
Trinity people have come to appreciate Kirk's unwavering faith in the good news of God's love in Jesus and the life-changing impact of that. The services he conducts reflect prayerful consideration, thoughtfulness, and a desire to share his vision of Christianity lived out in day-to-day life. Trinity people are thankful that as we do the work and worship which is Trinity's calling, we get to do it along side Kirk.
