2021 Congregational Christmas Project
A Classroom for Every Child
A Project of Presbyterian World Service & Development
The Missions Ministry is once again committing to the Classroom For Every Child campaign. As Trinity has in the past five Christmases, this Christmas we are providing support to send disadvantaged children to school who, in this Guatemalan neighborhood, reside next to the largest landfill in Central America. From previous efforts, we have raised enough to send 144 young girls to school in Afghanistan, 60 kids to a Guatemalan School and we are hoping to send another 40 children to school this year with a goal of raising $12,000. We are so grateful for this legacy of caring and sharing. A Classroom for Every Child is a project of Presbyterian World Service & Development; many children in the developing world - especially girls - are never able to go to school. Education is one of the most critical tools in breaking cycles of poverty and our gifts will help children reach their full potential and access better opportunities for the future.

Maria's Story
Maria Fernanda Ubeda Herrera is thankful for the opportunity to continue studying at Francisco Coll School.
In her letter of thanks to PWS&D, Maria shares how this program has changed her life: To PWS&D and your supporters, Hi, my name is Maria Fernanda Ubeda Herrera. I am writing to give thanks for your support of my studies over the years. My mom does not have fixed work and she is a single mother. But with your help, it is possible that I continue forward with my studies. If I continue to receive support, I will be a professional like an administrator and God willing, will be able to go to university and graduate. I ask God every day that you have good health and blessings in your lives and that you continue to be able to help adolescents to achieve their dreams and goals like me. I appreciate you very much even though I don’t know you in person. |
