Gifting a
Life insurance Policy to Trinity

For a comparatively small cost, you can provide a transformative gift to Trinity through the gift of life insurance.
Many donors would like to make a significant contribution to our congregation during their lifetimes; however, they may not have the financial resources to make such a gift. A life insurance policy can be a creative way to make a meaningful gift that you didn’t think was even possible. You can give either a new or existing policy.

You may transfer your policy, and Trinity will provide a tax receipt for its cash surrender value. If you continue to pay the premiums, annual tax receipts will be issued to you and Trinity will receive the full value of the policy upon the policyholder's death. If you no longer wish to pay the premiums, Trinity can pay them for you. Please consult your insurance broker or financial advisor for details.

Benefits of Donating Life Insurance

Satisfaction – Your transformative gift will support Trinity far into the future.

Doing What Seemed Impossible – Depending on health and age, you can create a substantial future gift with small or modest premium payments during your lifetime.

Tax Benefits – The final value of your policy will be far greater than the premiums that you will have paid.

Direct Deposit – Since gifts of life insurance flow directly to the church outside your estate, the full amount is not delayed while your affairs are being settled and there are no deductions for probate or administration fees.
